hi paul,
 
thanks for your email, i would be interested tl know the people who can do it for me an dhow long it will take and the price, unfortuantely it has to be all in javascript so i can not use what you suggested, but thanks all the same

To me, your application sounds like it would best be implemented with 
server-side scripting such as PHP or ASP. Javascript might come in handy 
for some of the user interface details, but I suspect what you're really 
looking for is something more robust and secure that resides on the server.

If you haven't done any scripting work before, you can learn to do it 
yourself, probably in just a few months and definitely inside a year, or 
you can hire someone else to do the work for you in a few days or weeks, 
depending on the scope of the project. There are many people on this 
listserve who are competant to do the work, but this list isn't intended to 
be a jobs bulletin board. Good luck, and contact me directly if you want 
help finding scripting resources.
