Sometime around 20:27 07/01/2002, Ben Dyer did verily sayeth:

>>It's a seriously nice little machine.

True. It's a shame that Apple don't get the recognition they deserve for
building inexpensive machines that can beat the crap out of comparable
Wintel systems.

For the first time on my life, I'm actually debating buying an Apple. Of
course, I'll have to put Yellowdog Linux on it and replace the kindergarten
mouse, but apart from that it's actually kinda cool.

>I like it...but I think it looks like a DRD from Farscape...with an LCD
>monitor. :)

Weird. I just started watching Farscape a couple of weeks ago, and have
already watched every episode up to 2x09. I was actually watching an
episode immediately before seeing the new iMac photos, and my first thought
was, "does it come with a minature laser cannon?"

Yeah. The "unintentional" teaser on Time Canada was a great way to get all
the news sites talking just 12 hours before the keynote. Gotta hand it to
Stevie, he's pretty good.
