I know this american couple , they keep mentioning a particular dish that
they make called : "pop roast" or "pop roach"... (sounds like that at
least).

 From the way they mention it, it doesnt sound like a very nice dish :
"...we finally stopped having pop roach(roast) ...."

they keep talking to me as if i know what this thing is about !
what is it really called ?
