Hi Jami:

Basically, it comes down to coding your tables in pixels vs. percents
values. The last method will allow you "resizing in browser" depending
on your visitors browser (window size, etc.). There are different techniques
to accomplish cool things following this method ("liquid design" - http://www.evolt.org/article/Liquid_Tables/20/2321/index.html).
BTW, Evolt.org is the place where I was first introduced to 'liquid tables'
besides other things/trends evoltees are discussing here.
