[thelist] ASP, HTTPS and Server to Server Communication....

Howdy...

I'm looking to implement a process in ASP that I've already coded in Perl, 
but have hit a road block. I want to communicate with another server, via 
ASP using HTTPS. With Perl I installed the OpenSSL code and a Perl Module 
that emulates a browser. Bing-o code access to HTTPS.

With ASP, I'm assuming a COM object exists that I can do the same thing, 
but I have not found one to date. Either that, or I can use IE as my COM 
object?

Any pointers or witty rejoinders?
