[thelist] OLE

Pffft... and I expected a bullfight.

Can you give us more information about what exactly doesn't work?

Is there any server-side component to this at all? Better put, what exactly does the server provide to this control? I assume there's some kind of delimited data that the control can then interpret to create the 3D model...

If anything, "It's an OLE ____" would mean it *does* work in IIS but not in Apache (assuming that by Windows 2003 you mean IIS)...

Cheers,

Peter

Hi

I am having problems with an ActiveX control on a website I'm developing.

It uses a plug from a company called Solidworks and provides a model that
can be manipulated in 3d.

The problem is, it works on an Apache server but not on the Windows 2003
server that I want it to run on.

I'm having trouble getting an answer to my questions and wondered if anyone
had any idea why it might work on the one server and not the other.

All I got from Solidworks was 'its an OLE'.

Kind Regards
