Hey Bob,
>Think of the browser as the visitor's remote control. They can channel
>surf and skip whatever content they don't want to watch. More and more
>people are installing products like Cookie Pal to block unwanted cookies.
>We have to accept the fact that we can't control what is not ours.
While that may be true, it certainly would be nice if all the client
producers could setup some sort of standards like we have in the world of
television. The nice part is, apart from a smaller or larger picture, all
content developed for NTSC televisions will work on a television in North
America. Same goes for PAL or SECAM elsewhere... It certainly would be
nice if we, as developers, could have that same type of client market...
until that time, the Net as a whole is severely limited in too many
unnecessary ways. Client control is an awesome feature, but that too
should be limited when and where necessary.
-= Cheers =-
