Hello
If you want to do that you have to open the first window using Javascript,
so you will end up with 3 windows in all. You can't just close an instance
of IE which the client (i.e. the user as opposed to Javascript) has opened.
Hope this helps
Mark

Subject: [Javascript] closing windows
Hi,
I have a window that opens another window. When the second window is
opened i want the first window to close. It works but in IE it displays a
little confirm message saying "The Web page you are viewing is trying to
close the window Do you want to close the window?"
Does anyone know how to stop this message displaying?
Regards,
Andrew
