[Javascript] Fade transition onmouseover/out based on CSS :hover?

Mike,

This wasn't my post so I don't have any code going, yet. I do have a 
project on deck that could use some features you listed. Do you have 
examples or know of off the self code for the following?

A. "mousing up/down the nav list causes each flyout to open and close"
B. "should they fade in and out"
C. "to prevent accidentally closing the whole flyout"
