[thelist] Installing PHP??

Nothing in these directorys...
Totally dumb question.. I have located the rpms on my cdrom but I don't know
how to install it.....
(the book I have seems to not cover the use of rpms)
Can you tell me the syntax for this??

Do you see any php-related files on your filesystem? Try running this in
your shell:
/usr/local/php-*/run-tests.php
or just:
cd /usr/local/php-*
To see if that directory exists. It would probably be a good idea to run the
php execution tests in your shell to take possible webserver config problems
out of the picture.
