I'm not 100% sure about other visitors( who can be anyway) but the only place I
want links to open in a new window for me is Google.
By the way how would you explain the "new browser features" like Accept popup
windows: Yes/No/Background in Opera( maybe in other browsers too).
I'm not quite sure how accurate statistics are at thecounter.com( as far as I
know they use images & javascript to track users which is not really reliable)
but according to them around 13% of visitors on the web don't have JavaScript
or have it disabled. The trend for that figure is up if compare to previous
months which for me is a sure sign to what users think( AFAIK the most annoying
JavaScript usage is the popup ads).
