Hi all,
I'm working on a simple CCS layout and -cannot- figure out how to get a few
divs lined up the way I want. I can't seem to find anything in my web
searches to help me with this one, maybe I'm not searching for the right
terms. I'm a beginner with CSS layout, and I've basically thrown this
together by trial and error and web searching.
Here's the link to the problem area:

The header is all wonky (there are other issues and I'm sure the CSS and
html files aren't clean, but I'm getting to that). One thing at a time ;) At
least it validates.
Here's a screenshot of what I want it to look like:

Before you jump in, there's a catch to the logo and background images used
in the header. In the screen shot, you'll see the little colored squares
under the logo, those will be used to change css files, which will make the
background colors black, gray, or white, and the logo, header background,
and copyright images will change accordingly. That is why I can't use a
regular <img> tag in the div for the logo or copyright symbol. I plan to use
an image replacement trick when I can find the right one.
So, first question is, can anyone help me with laying out the divs so they
look like the screenshot, and secondly, what image replacement trick are you
using? A link will suffice for either if you don't have much time.
Thanks so much for your help :)
Gina
