Electricity is also very useful to computing, but I don't think questions of
that nature are best placed here - maybe another list might be more suitable.

There are lots of security related lists where this might be more appropriate
*and* people will be able to give you these types of logfiles.

www.securityfocus.com has a large number of lists (including Bugtraq etc)
including at least one on IDSes.
