Another hockey fan here - I'm in Atlanta, so default to being a Thrashers 
fan, which at times can be tough. They seem to play a tight two periods 
against just about any team, but don't hold up very well through three, 
unfortunately. This is their third year and although they have a lot of 
younger, less experienced players, it ought to be their best so far, since 
they got some hot rookie picks in Dany Heatley and Ilya Kovalchuk, who 
skates ohmyGOD fast. Heatley has a great eye and throws some serious moves too.

This is too funny - last week in the local paper there was a blurb about 
Kovalchuk having 9 (that's not a typo) teeth pulled (non-injury related) 
and a quote from the writer was "Apparently, dental care in Russia is less 
than adequate. And his mother is rumored to be a dentist." :)
