Well, price, performance, and value are important - especially if they 
need The Managed Hosting Specialists (tm) who offer "Fanatical 
Support"(tm) and can offer NOCs in London, DC, and Texas... ;)
(not that I have any idea of who might fit that description)

Those little thinkpads are pretty cool. The cases are really nice - 
very stiff and light.

What Ron needs now is the new little HP linux laptop.
