Except for that little telecom immunity thing, right? I was actually
digging Obama a bit until then. Similarly, I was digging McCain a
little back in 2000 before he bent over for the Republican Party in
order to get the nomination for this election.

Honestly I could care less if it's a freakoid libertarian or a full
out socialist... I'd just like to vote for someone with a coherent set
of ideas that don't sound like they were handpicked from the polling
salad bar. And when the person seems to have a strong, principled
stance on something, I'd like them to not, you know, do the exact
opposite of what they said they were going to do when it came to
voting and then give some lame excuse that has me ask how he's ever
going to effect change with that attitude.
