Remember tho .. the integrity of the vote is far more important than
anonymity (sp?) of the vote.  IOW .. if we don't record who has voted then
our results are useless.  As Jeff pointed out .. even inserting the userid
alone into its own table can easily be compared to the table that stores
just the vote.  So, from a DB perspective, it makes sense to attach the
userid to their vote.

However, if we want to have fun polls in which we don't care about the
integrity nor how many times a person votes .. we *could* do that .. but I
don't think that's what you're getting at when you ask for complete
anonymity.
