understanding that the money is already spent, i just wanted to point
out that, as most of the web professionals who're members of Evolt
probably already know, there's nothing more that a $200 Verisign SSL
certificate buys you, that a $49 InstantSSL cert doesn't (see
http://www.instantssl.com), except perhaps name recognition.  and the
Verisign brand name won't impress your site's visitors unless they're
the type that looks up the cert details of every https: url they visit,
and coincidentally don't already hate Verisign for their price gauging
and abhorrent customer service of their domain name registration
subsidiary, Network Solutions.

that said, let me just add my: "me too", to the general disdain for the
name ez-profits.com
