[Javascript] The SCORM API

I'm wondering if anyone on this list has experience in implementing the
above standard?  The way I see it usually implemented is in a frameset with
JavaScript, sometimes Java.

I've ignored framesets all these years but now need to implement sending and
receiving information from an ASP based application to/from the API but I'd
like to avoid frames.

Does anyone have any pointers or suggestions?
